How would a knight move from a starting position, since it can not "jump" over the pawns? Reply Ronger mendez says: December 26, 2019 at 3:49 am Precio por favor desde Peru Reply Stefan Bachmair says: December 26, 2019 at 12:29 pm Wonderful!!! At which time will the RegiumChess be available? Reply Richard Lloyd says: December 27, 2019 at 4:24 pm The placing down of pieces by a human player in the video seemed to be deliberately very firm (much harder than a human player would normally do). Is this a requirement of the board or can pieces be placed less firmly than shown? Does a human player have to pick up a piece and place it down or can it simply be slid from its starting square all the way to its finishing square without lifting it (which is, after all, how the computer pieces move)? Does the board have built-in firmware and, if so, can it be easily updated for fixes/new features? Does the board have any audio capability (e.g. beeps or even speech) or is it expected that an accompanying app would do that? Reply Krishna Bajoria says: December 28, 2019 at 6:05 am Amazing… I have a question though. Can I adjust the opponents rating depending on the level of difficulty I would like for instance 1600, 2000, 2400 and so on? Reply Johann Schulz says: January 12, 2020 at 6:49 pm I need this, I want this, I must have this!!! 🙌🏼 🙌🏼 🙌🏼 Reply followyourpassion says: January 18, 2020 at 7:49 am WOW. Reply followyourpassion says: January 18, 2020 at 7:55 am Will the board directly execute the move of a DGT PI? Reply followyourpassion says: January 18, 2020 at 9:20 am Is an engine implemented on the onboard CPU as well? ( So you don't need an external CPU for playing) Reply Sriram Gorur says: January 21, 2020 at 7:39 am Can you please tell me if the board comes with an inbuilt battery? Thank you. Reply juju lapraline says: January 22, 2020 at 9:31 pm looks fantastic.I am waiting for the release Reply didi2626 says: January 23, 2020 at 7:53 am Hi.When we will be able to buy it?Amazon?Price?Thank you. Reply ragnorak56 says: January 29, 2020 at 4:22 pm This wasn't an engine playing. This is very famous game Levitsky vs Frank Marshall 1912. Reply Sebastián Jorge Bigi says: January 30, 2020 at 2:18 am came from banter cup… very intersting stuff. will be abble on argentina? (my english is bad, sorry). Reply George Savvidis says: January 30, 2020 at 5:35 am Just a few questions… 1. Does it bundle with two queens for each players? 2. How does it handle pawn promotion, does it ask for the piece we want to promote the pawn? 3. Does it support auto promotion? Thank you sir Reply Chess Masters says: January 31, 2020 at 3:43 pm How would a knight jump over pawns? It looks like the advertisement deliberately avoids this. Reply MegaRobiton says: February 1, 2020 at 3:32 pm Сколько интересно будет стоить такая доска? Reply Yoav Milikow says: February 1, 2020 at 3:48 pm INCREDIBLE!!!!! Reply Yoav Milikow says: February 1, 2020 at 3:50 pm Hopefully one day there will be a site where people play with this amazing board against other people! Reply MrGodofcar says: February 2, 2020 at 11:35 am Is this Harry Potter chess? Reply Awesome Ethan says: February 3, 2020 at 11:50 pm This looks amazing, I love playing chess and this is something im definitely looking forward to. I have a couple of questions though, when can we buy it and how much is it? I’m hoping for under $1k to $500 or less. Reply Jim Dangcil says: February 4, 2020 at 9:38 pm How will this handle pawn promotions? And how many extra pieces will come with the board? Reply Silvia de Haro says: February 6, 2020 at 7:54 pm 1. Can you publish a video with a blitz game? Sorry, for my taste the deposit in the demo is very strong. 2. Is this the only prototype at the moment? Did you present already this board in a trade fear? 3. The board and the list of his features seems to me perfect (to perfect?!) and ready to start with production very soon. Or is more development necessary? 4. Do you have already contracts with all the online platforms? Reply David Croson says: February 7, 2020 at 12:12 am Your friend Frank should get a shower of gold for this game 😉 Reply TymexComputing says: February 9, 2020 at 4:39 pm I came here from the ad at some ending screen of Banter Blitz 🙂 – i was researching eboards market (perceive only) for about a year and hope it will not be much more pricey than walnut dgt eboard but well, what can i say. I only encourage you to invest in ads on the most viewed chess content creators so more people would be interested in this kickstarter and hopefully at 100.000 order the price would be minimal and could be competing with other available solutions i really wish that. Possible places: Sam Copeland channel, Hanging Pawns, Agadmator, Eric Rosen, Alexandra Botez :), Anna Rudolf, ChessBrah, John Bartholomew, chess.com channels, – that would bring you easily 100.000 viewers, wide knowledge about the kickstarte, but on the other hand i think a 1000 $ investment could be ok only for 10% of them. Reply TymexComputing says: February 9, 2020 at 4:42 pm Everything nicely explained, i thought about induction movement when i saw 2 pieces running around simultanously 🙂 – also i saw an "automatic placement" function so i know there is a physical possibility to move 6+ pieces simultanously – tell me that you want to add support for Atomic Chess Variant (all the pieces near a capture disappear at capture moment) and i will buy two of those 🙂 Reply P. D. says: February 13, 2020 at 1:52 pm Will this work with the biggest online chess websites like lichess.org ? Reply XXIV says: February 13, 2020 at 9:09 pm How long will this be for sale? <———————— Reply Haydar KIR says: February 19, 2020 at 12:04 am Imagine if this could store thousands of chess puzzles and execute them almost instantly.
