Stay Smart Online Week 2016 – Minister wins Game of Threats!
It’s a great privilege to be here today in
Parliament to play Game of Threats with the Minister. We developed Game of Threats
to try and help boards and CEO’s get their head around the complexity
and the number of moving parts there are. To recognise this isn’t a technology issue.
This is about people. This is about information and coordination. Today we’re going to pretend
to be an insider going after our own organisation
and our own information. It is incredibly important
that the government work closely with the business community
in dealing with the cyber threat and in particular, cyber crime. This isn’t something that we as
government can do alone. The only way we’re going to be successful is if we have government, business and the
community, and individuals in particular working in partnership
to deal with this threat.
